Metallurgy Technician

This technician will perform material testing, sample preparation for FAI, support for equipment installation and release, equipment monitoring and control; And take charge for troubleshooting for measuring equipment in Material function. Work closely with all cross functional teams to drive for customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
• Perform testing and measuring for FAI sample (HRC, HV, microstructure analysis)
• Basic fracture analysis skill
• Control and monitoring all measuring equipment inside material Lab.
• Measuring sample to release new equipment (MSA).
• Support for calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment.
• Familiar with use of all kinds of office software (Word. Excel.)
• Sample preparation for microstructure analysis, physical properties testing.

• Qualified education from inorganic material, metallurgy, chemical, material science.
• College degree or University
• Minimum 2 years working experience in the material Lab, chemical Lab as same position.
• Experience in using measurement equipment (Group of sample preparation equipment: Mounting, grinding, polishing, chemical etching, and material testing equipment: HRC, HV, UTM, color reader, microscope, SEM, X-ray).
• Basic in statistical techniques including inspection techniques (7 QC tool, SPC).
• Basic English communication, written.
• Good attitude, agile, willing to learn, and early warning to prevent problem.
• Teamwork, pro-active, and good mindset in safety.
• Able to use some basic office software such as outlook, excel, word, ppt for reporting.
• Teamwork
